Today I'm going to share with you how to fancy-up some regular ol' storage boxes for your office or work space area, and I've even got a VIDEO tutorial! Double whammy!

After a lot of script writing, multiple trips to find enough "nice shirts" for Cason and I to wear for 8 filmed episodes, and LOTS  of nervous-ness (that we didn't know we would have) later... We've finally finished all our shows for My Craft Chanel!

It has been in the works for a while now, and I've been bursting at the seems to let all of my readers know! Cason and I have teamed up with the oh-so-awesome Kristine McKay's production studio, and this fall we will be hosting our own little Home DIY show on mycraftchannel.com!

EVO Conference Recap

A few weekends back I packed my bags and headed towards Park City Utah with a gaggle of other bloggers for the EVO 2011 conference.WOW. It was AWESOME!

There were lots of fabulous speakers, classes, sponsors, old friends and fellow new friends, like:
Alison and Shelley, Melissa, Cheryl, Kim, Gina, Lori, & Tsh
 to socialize with! And let's not forget the BEAUTIFUL scenery that Park City itself has to offer.

Instead of posting a ton of pictures, I threw together a little video of some of my favorite shots and moments.

We got SO much done this week in our bathroom, that I didn't know where to start!  So I'll let this crazy video sum it all up for ya.

Hair Extensions

okay it IS about me... well mostly my hair, anyway :)

I mentioned on Facebook a while ago, that I had some hair extensions put in a few weeks back.  I'm always so surprised that I get emails asking so many questions about my clothes, hair and jewelry.

I feel like most of the time I'm just trying to decide which of my FOUR
"nice shirts" I wore out last!

lol.  I'm not alone here, right?

OK... Let's talk hair.

So... big secret (not)... I have the THINNEST hair EVER!  I don't know if it was having kids, or what, but my hair wasn't nearly as thin when I was younger.

To be honest, I used to be really self conscious about it.... wait, I still am. LOL

After I "tried" college for a year or so, I decided it wasn't for me, and I needed to be totally hands on.  So I went to beauty school.  MOSTLY, just to learn about MY hair.  How to understand it more, what looks best on me, and how to actually FIX it!

... Oh, and plus, I was sick of school, needed to get married, and I heard that Utah boys "dug" hair school girls. 
:)  hee hee jk.

I went through a few crazy hair styles, but I FINALLY found a style that worked for me and my thin hair that I could actually pull off!

Enter in:  THE SWOOP BANG!

ha!

I've been sporting this look for about 6 or 7 years now, and STILL love it.

Living Room Vlogging

Okay... so I might lose a couple of you on this post, but you HAVE been asking for it! lol

You may have seen on facebook,  that I FINALLY found my little video recorder

(stashed in a SHOE under one of the twins beds! ... no kidding) that had our

"couch shopping experience" documented on it and I thought to myself ...

"Self?  Why not just do a VIDEO blog post on this couch journey of ours?"

So I decided, instead of just typing it all, for you to read... I would VLOG it! :)

Here it is! (please excuse the lighting) ... you might want to get comfy.

Master Bathroom RE-Paint Party

Like I mentioned in the last post... the blue "gray" that we painted the FIRST time...

Just wasn't working for us... and our "vision" that we had in mind.

So yesterday I headed out to find a warmer... darker gray color.

I think I hit the nail right on the head, with Wood Smoke from Glidden.

{Bangin' Bathroom Bonanza!...}

Okay... so we are on to our NEXT big project :)

I'm so excited!

FINALLY we're gonna get to work on our Master Bathroom!

We initially were going to work on our BEDROOM... but I can't lie...

I have 2 other neighbor girlfriends doing bathrooms in their homes... so enough was enough.

I wanted in on the "bangin' bathroom bonanza" too!

Cason and I also decided that we wanted to make this project a bit more interesting and throw some really bad quality live camera shots in the mix, too!

V-logging is like... "so in" ... right? :) ha.

So pretty much, here's all you need to know about what's goin' down in OUR bathroom!

Shaky, not so great video editing skills, and a really messy master bedroom. LOL.

We can v-log from the comfort of our own bed, right???

Like it said in the video, we're really going to try to take you along, during this project, so that you can get a sense of what we accomplish and when!

First:

I May... have felt some "reader love" at WinCo.

Yesterday I was at the grocery store with Cason and the kids.

I may or may not have been slightly barking at my girls to put their treats, that they totally didn't deserve that day, up on the cashier counter so we could buy them...

when the cute lady in front of me in line turned and said...

"Okay... so I just have to tell you... I love your blog and all your ideas!"

*******screeeech!*******

"WHAT!?  You read MY BLOG!?"

At this point I may or may not have almost trampled my twins, to do what???...
