I Am Creative; What are You?

Fill in the blank with something positive you love and believe about yourself:

I Am __________.

What word first comes to mind? Beautiful, funny, fearless, brave, strong, happy?
For me, I choose... Creative.

Not necessarily specifically crafty, handy, or inventive. Just... creative all around. In how I think, dress, approach life situations, write, decorate, etc.

Starting a phrase with, I Am, is pretty bold don't you think? It made ME a little uneasy at first, anyway. When you start a sentence with "I Am..." You are stating something that you believe in. You're telling someone that you are totally confident, and that you ARE what you say you are, no excuses.

I love it.

Eyelash Extension Q&A with Heather from Aqua Spa

Eyelash Extension questions answered with Heather from Aqua Spa Inc.
Today I wanted to post about one of my most frequently asked questions.
As I went through our FAQ submissions I started giggling at how MANY of you ladies had the same questions over and over again about my eyelash extensions post that I did a few months back. ha!
A Home DIY blog and you all want to know about my eyelashes?...Go figure! lol.

Everyday Kitchen Shelves, Breakfast Nook Before and After & New Summer Do

{Please Excuse Me...}

...While I figure out, WHERE THE HECK this week has gone!?!?...

Really.  I woke up thinking it was Wednesday.  Nope.  It's Friday, alright.
I've been up to my ears in projects.  LOTS of projects!!!  I've been organizing, decorating, caulking, and more!  I feel like I either have to focus on my Kids and Blog, or Kids and Projects.  And this week, the Kids and Projects won :)  But that's okay, because it means I get to do Kids and Blog, next week!

I'll leave you with a little something I've been working on.  You know my, usually holiday shelves in the kitchen?  Well, if I get one more email asking me what they look like, now that the holidays are up... I might scream... hee hee, jk.
Really... as of about a week ago, I still had Valentines Day decor up... no joke.  So I headed out to find some inexpensive "everyday decor" that I could keep up for the non-holiday months to come.
Here's what I've got so far...

Okay ladies, I should be packing for Creative Estates right now, but I just HAD to post about my new lashes, because I can't STOP looking at them in the mirror!
ow' OW!!!  (that's a cat call, I'm not hurt. lol)
Yup.  That's how I feel about them!  They are sexier and sassier then ever!
The quality of the lashes, and application technique that Heather from Aqua Spa used, was insanely top notch.

Check them out for yourself...

Hair Extensions

okay it IS about me... well mostly my hair, anyway :)

I mentioned on Facebook a while ago, that I had some hair extensions put in a few weeks back.  I'm always so surprised that I get emails asking so many questions about my clothes, hair and jewelry.
I feel like most of the time I'm just trying to decide which of my FOUR
"nice shirts" I wore out last!
lol.  I'm not alone here, right?

OK... Let's talk hair.

So... big secret (not)... I have the THINNEST hair EVER!  I don't know if it was having kids, or what, but my hair wasn't nearly as thin when I was younger.
To be honest, I used to be really self conscious about it.... wait, I still am. LOL

After I "tried" college for a year or so, I decided it wasn't for me, and I needed to be totally hands on.  So I went to beauty school.  MOSTLY, just to learn about MY hair.  How to understand it more, what looks best on me, and how to actually FIX it!
... Oh, and plus, I was sick of school, needed to get married, and I heard that Utah boys "dug" hair school girls.
:)  hee hee jk.
I went through a few crazy hair styles, but I FINALLY found a style that worked for me and my thin hair that I could actually pull off!
Enter in:  THE SWOOP BANG!
ha!
I've been sporting this look for about 6 or 7 years now, and STILL love it.
