The House of Smiths on My Craft Channel

Yay!  I can finally tell all of you some REALLY fun news today!

It has been in the works for a while now, and I've been bursting at the seems to let all of my readers know! Cason and I have teamed up with the oh-so-awesome Kristine McKay's production studio, and this fall we will be hosting our own little Home DIY show on mycraftchannel.com!

And yes, as you can probably piece together, due to the shots of us from up above... we don't really plan on tackling very controversial, serious or "heavy" topics on this new show. ha!
Instead, we're going to be bringing some of our favorite projects, DIY tutorials and most frequently asked questions to life for you, with TWELVE fun episodes!

Alright, so all this being said...

Do we think that we have what it takes to "school some peeps" just like us, on some simple Home DIY projects?
We hope so!

Are we a bit apprehensive about putting our (could be) fights, failures, and goofiness online for everyone to see, first hand?
Maybe yes...Maybe no
(I'll let you guess which one of us said yes, and which one of us said no) haha!

And in the end...are we both totally nervous, freaked out and COMPLETELY excited to finally take our little home DIY videos to the next level!?

Cason and I did a LOT of pondering about participating on the My Craft Channel team, and even though we know it will take a lot of commitment, learning (on our part, finding out how to be on camera TOGETHER without looking completely incompetent) and practice, to get everything perfect for you... we are SO READY!
And in the end, we are the most excited about being able to share yet another tool with all of our readers that they can use, to reference some of our best budget friendly and do-it-yourself projects, to hopefully inspire, motivate and ignite the creativity in themselves.
Because for US, that's what it's ALL about :)

Gah!  We're SO excited!

Also, just a quick heads up, My Craft Channel is giving away a Cricket Expressions machine with each new host announcement (there are 20!). I have to be honest, I've not had a chance to try one out yet, because I've been quite partial to my Silhouette. But hopefully soon I'll be able to get hands on and let you all in on the pros and cons of each machine... because from what I hear, they both have their own individual bells and whistles that make them great!
