I just wanted to pop in and say Merry Christmas!
This year we are EXTRA happy and grateful, and it's all because of YOU! Our friends Near and Far!
Everyday we wonder who's out there reading. What YOU look like. Where YOU live. What YOU do.
Now we know a little bit more!
We laughed...
We cried (out of joy)
Thank you to those who sent sweet little notes and gifts
and
We learned, about YOU and YOUR families!
This year during Christmas we are incredibly, and mostly grateful for all of YOU. And just like you let us into YOUR homes and hearts so often, we wanted all of YOU to be in ours.
Mission Accomplished
:)
:)
I know that there are a lot of you who sent off Christmas cards to us a bit late, or are going to be doing New Years cards instead, and we are still SO EXCITED to get those as well!!! If you need a reminder on where to send your card, you can look here.
We were in total awe of how truly AMAZING all of you, your stories and families really are. This morning I walked out into our quiet living room, only lit by the glow from the lights on our tree... and just started crying. As I stood there thinking about how blessed we are to have a warm, beautiful home, presents under the tree, and a wall full of happy, smiling friends looking back at us, the knowledge that we are right where we're suppose to be in our life at this very moment was very apparent.
Thank you to ALL of you who took the time to send cards, letters and pictures.
Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and love for you. We were joyfully overwhelmed with the response that we had and look forward to sending YOU a little something as well, for all of your support and love this year.

I love it! That is super crazy how many there are - but SO MUCH FUN! I love how amazingly cute all these cards are. Merry Christmas to you and your sweet family Shelley!

ReplyDeleteWow that's amazing! Can I tell you about a worthy cause and maybe your readers still have some left over cards to send? There is a little boy with Cystic Fibrosis who's dying wish is to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for most Christmas cards received. Here is the link to find out more: http://www.nobigdill.com/2012/12/a-boys-dying-wish.html Our family sent him one. Our kids each wrote him an encouraging note along with our card, and we hope he makes it to Guiness!!!

ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon this blog a while ago, but then couldn't find it again. I am so excited to have found *&BOOKMARKED* it again. I have been reading and reading it today & since we're expecting a blizzard here in Oklahoma, I will probably keep reading until I get all the way back to the 1st post. :) There are only 2 blogs I read every day & I am definitely adding this to my blogroll. What an inspiration you are. I struggle with my weight and weight loss. I am so inspired by you & love how you keep it real. Just like everyone else, I'm just in love with your gorgeous home, your kids are beyond precious, & I just love each post. I have always wanted to wear lipstick... but the riskiest I've been is clear lip gloss or caramel burts bees (& that was a big step) It was a N.Y. resolution last year, but it didn't happen, except on Halloween. I wore red lipstick & loved it. (I chose Halloween in case other ppl judged me, at least I could say, 'hey! It's Halloween...) anyhow, I am trying out the colors you have mentioned in other posts & praying I can be brave enough to wear them outside of the house :) I WILL DO IT:) Thank you for your post, the inspiration, & I look forward to following along :)
