A Busy Home Project Weekend

Yup... this is happening. My house was officially OUT OF CONTROL this weekend, and today it's not lookin' much better.

Our twins have outgrown their tiny little room upstairs, so we decided to move them down to the finished basement, that has two big empty bedrooms, but that meant:

 * Starting an entire room makeover (so that the basement room they were going to live in didn't "feel" like a basement room)

* Shifting Aubrielle to the girls' old bedroom (that's slightly bigger... like by only a foot...grrr)

* Patching some holes (from the time our master bathroom shower sprung a leak)

* RE-painting our hallway

and

* Concocting plans for a girly kid-only office-space/hangout.

***sigh***

It's only Monday, and I'm already tired. lol. I have so much to post about, that I feel like my head is going to explode. Be patient. It's coming.

We had to shoot a shopping video for one of our shows, and well, recording even a 20 second little blip with your husband, after an entire day of shopping together in the heat, can sometimes make you a bit grumpy, snappy, and mostly... just silly. I was a little hesitant on sharing this footage because it's totally candid and shows how we interact with each other (which is just weird to see on camera), and also because you get to see how immature and "unprofessional" we really are. ha! (no judging)
But in the tradition of "keeping things real" around here... I just had to share.

PS. In case you were wondering...yes, we are totally aware that we are complete dorks.
