Getting Ready for the Creative Estates Conference

I'm Gettin' Pumped for Creative Estates!
Who's ready!?

Only a few more sleeps till this fabulously creative conference!  I can hardly wait.
There will be so many inspiring, talented bloggers there!
I've been a bit of a stress case trying to make sure I have everything in order.

- A few posts lined up
- A new Groopdealz deal to launch, while I'm gone.
- Hair done
- Nails done
- Maybe a new shirt???
(still on the hunt for that.  I wasn't worried until I read Becca's post, lol)

I've been ordering online lately, from Old Navy's Plus Size section on their site.
I always feel like it's hit or miss with them.
Like this shirt...


I feel like it's attacking me, and it makes me look like a linebacker! :(
But it was so CUTE in the picture on their site!
gah! ...
And,
I actually kinda liked this crazy neon yellow one...
...until my 3yr old walked in, while I was taking this photo and said...

"Ew, Mom!  I don't 'yike' dat one!  It's really too bright, and it hurts my eyes."

ugh...
Guess I would't want to blind anyone at the conference, now would I? lol.
Being a girl is hard!
(ps. If you DO see me in this yellow shirt, know that my attempts to find any OTHER new shirt, failed miserably)

Ooo!  And speaking of 'being a girl' ... guess what I'm getting tomorrow!?

Eeek!  I'm so excited! I can't wait to show you'all the difference!
Although, I would be freakin' ecstatic if my lashes looked even CLOSE to this girls's NORMAL ones. ha!
Jeesh... SOME people!  It's just never enough!

    You crack me up! Love the yellow and I LOVED the red until you went and got me thinking about linebackers... Awe I still love it! Just rock it! Your so cute!!! and SHOW US LASHES pics! I can't wait I want them so bad!!!

    shelly that is great you are getting your eyelashes done... i get mine done all the time. i got to the point to save money, i do them my self a lot cheeper and enjoy this happiness for myself. something that makes me happy for me! good luck!

    You always looks soooooo cute! I really like the yellow. You should keep it! I think you need to offer personal shopping for girls like me. I have the hardest time finding anything I like. I usually come home empty handed.

    I love the yellow shirt- and I hope you do wear it! I'm getting nervous planning my outfits- but i couldn't agree with your Old Navy comment more about it being hit or miss! I can't even remember the last time I bought anything there, and yesterday while shopping for CE scooped up a million things and walked out with 5 bags! HA! I'd say yesterday was a "hit"!

    I love the color of the pink one - so bright and springish/summmeryish? Maybe take off teh ruffles on the shoulders and keep the gather and make a cute little flowere bunch in a corner, or even add a different color of fabric flower with it? Just an idea.

    A lot of my girlfriends have those eyelashes and I am mesmerized by them....they look SO great!

    Have fun at the conference....new shirt or not. The best thing you can wear is a smile!

    WWWOOOOOOOO! I can't wait!! I am SO NOT ready but I can't wait! I have no idea what I am going to pack and I am sure I am going to completely OVER PACK but you have to be prepared, right?! lol I can't wait to meet you! It is going to be so fun!

    I agree about Old Navy, hit & miss for me too! And I can't wait to see your lashes :) just last night my hubs said after staring at me for a while "your eyelashes are kinda short,huh?" Ummm, ya thanks! LOL :) its SO nice that he and all 3 of my boys have long lashes!! What the heck? Boys don't care about that stuff!!

    Ugh I feel your pain girlie! I have ordered plus sized things from old navy that I have loved so much that I've ordered it again in a different color and the fit is so off that it's crazy. Their stuff looks so cute online but it's a gamble! Have fun on your trip- and I like the yellow!

    Sunny girl... you rock that yellow and you are right.. the red has a big to much going for it.. Big girl clothes are SO hard to deal with. I am a size 14-16 so not exactly eclipsing the sun or anything but I still struggle to find stuff that fits well and is cute.. and as we hae established.. is for old people like me :)
