Planked Wall Thoughts, Be Nice & Funny's

Gettin' Geared Up, A quick lesson & Funny

Cason emailed me this today:

"I have a building bug in me and want to make/build something today when I get home!
What should I do, tonight, Love?"
~Cas

Then he sent me these pictures from Google Image:

Got any ideas what he's got up his sleeve?
:)
***sigh***
There are so many reason why I love this man.
But this email...
and this picture that I secretly snapped the other night, while I was
"working on vinyl orders"... hee hee
...Have to be in my top 10 for sure
:)

Some other things I'm excited to show you:
- Studio 5 Halloween Segment (on Thursday)
- Pimping out my neighbors KitchenAid
- A Fall Deal
 - Goin' Animal Style
- Party Planning extraordinaire
 - Adding some bench flair
and more... but I better not list the others, in case they 'go south'
ha!
.....................................................

Oh... and to Miss "Anonymous" today...
(thank goodness I moderate comments, lol)
Please take a lesson from the smartest Thumper around :)

Excuse me, to the rest of you...
I just wanted to make sure she saw that... just in case her Momma never had a chance to teach her
:)
Don't think I'll ever "understand" nasty commenters... hmmm...
ANYWAY...
These always brighten my day :)
Take a stab at it.  See if they work for you.

Yup... in the words of this guy...

"I don't care who ya'are... that there's FUNNY!"

  1. Wow, you are one lucky woman!!! My husband is SUPER handy around the house, but has a "bad attitude" most of the time when it comes to home improvement projects. Don't get me wrong, he does have many wonderful qualities, but initiating home project is NOT one of them LOL!!! Can't wait to see what ya'll come up with!

PS - Boo to the nasty poster. I just don't get that either. At all.

  4. -This has nothing to do with photography but it’s just too cute not to share!
Ha! Loved the clips….made me LOL (it feels funny to type LOL not sure why)!

-Mean commenter’s are the pits! I’m with ya, not sure why they would even waste their time and energy.

-That’s awesome that your hubby get the itch to build stuff and helps around the house! My fiancĂ©e cleaned the kitchen last week without me asking him to help out. I was on could nine!

  13. I've been dreaming of clad-ding (is that a word?) one wall in our master bedroom in horizontal planks for YEARS. Every month SOMETHING comes up to steal my joy...I mean money...this month new tires for the van.

Here's the thing: if I have a beautiful bedroom, I'll never want to go anywhere, right? So tires - shmires, I say ;)

Can't wait to see how it turns out!

  46. I just love this! First of that is my all time fav part of a movie and I have been known to do an imitation once in a while and those kids, precious. I needed the laugh!!! As for your husband, would he consider running a "real man camp"????? I'll send mine, laundry folding, building, cooking, dancing (I remember your old video) all the things all men should do!!! Thanks girl, lots of fun! And remember if they called you a giraffe would that make you one? No, ignore the nasties!

  51. You married a good man!!! I knew him in kindergarten/first grade and may or may not have had a crush on him!!

Love your blog and projects. And I love how you handled your rude anonymous poster. Somebody's gotta put them in their place, or at least teach them a lesson!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. LOVED that thumper video 'reminder.' how cute. I have to say the article you posted about how blogging comments hurt opened my eyes to why people are mean and rude in the comment section...it's all due to insecurity!! And I myself have felt those insecurities and as a result thought something less than sweet!! (though I'd never say it aloud!!). anyway, I LOVE your blog and the inspiration it gives me. Thanks so much for sharing your creative genius!!
