Pantry Preparation

{All Messed Up}
No... I'm not trying out for the next season of Hoarders.
We're just trying to work on a project...
That we don't have enough money or time to finish.
That EVER happen to anyone else? lol.

Everything is moving V.E.R.Y slowly.
I'm so TIRED lately.
Is it the heat?
I have zero motivation... and I'm even working out in the mornings, which is suppose to give you MORE energy... right?
Oh crap
.
.
.
I think I'm in a funk.
LOL

  1. No, you're not in a total funk when you're still laughing about it! Yes, it is the heat and sometimes it just all piles up and overwhelms. I'm currently going through one of those myself. I get so dog gone many projects going on, that I become stagnate and can't do any of them. I just look around my house at ten different projects and the first thing I think is... "I'm just going to stop blogging." I tend to blame all my faults on blogging.

By the way -- the first week or two of an exercise program does wear you out. Make sure you eat plenty of protein, even if it's a spoonful of peanut butter. After the first couple of weeks, you will start feeling more energized.

During times like this, you sometimes have to put yourself first and take care of yourself just like you would take care of another member of your family.

  2. My utility room is going to look like that in a couple of days. I need to paint the inside of a big closet, so all the stuff inside needs to come out. I feel for you, but know that you're in good company.

  3. so..what you doing? (think of that in the little gilrs voice on phineas and ferb. I so know that you watch it.
Looks like a kitchen reno. Give me some tips. We are tackling on ours next week. Nothing like a tv deadline to get ones butt into gear. Seriously-share your tips. Pretty sure that I am going to ship my children off to my in-laws. Don't think that I can handle them and my husband and painting. I am so not as good as you!! Miss you! We so need to do lunch again. How is your september looking??

  6. Oh you mean a kitchen isn't always supposed to look like this!?!?!? Oh crap! ;-) We all have seasons of disorder in our lives, don't sweat it! I agree with everyone else the heat just zaps it out of you. My entire house is dragging today!

  12. I read your blog all the time, and you give me so much inspiration and motivation! I'm sorry to hear how tired you are lately. Have you had your thyroid levels checked recently? You'd be surprised how tired/icky/apathetic hypothyroidism can make a girl feel -- especially a mom with lots of other people to care for. Believe me -- I know of which I speak! God bless, and I hope you catch a second wind so I can try some of your wonderful projects!

And I am a frequent funk flyer. You are not alone my friend. I guess we must have the

  18. I am guessing you are working on a pantry? I love your cabinets. If I had the $$ for new ones I would have them look like yours. I know what you mean about being tired from working out.
