TRAMPOLINE CHAT
Today Cason g-chatted me at work and informed me he was going to sleep out on the trampoline with the girls tonight.
I rolled my eyes and replied with a simple:
"Really? I'm thinking that won't be such a good idea."
He then said:
"What!? You're crazy! It will be so fun! I used to do it all the time, as a kid!"
He then tried to persuade me to join them... Uh. No thanks.
.
.
.
All four of them waddled into the back yard with sleeping bags in tow at 9:10pm.
This is the g-chat that I just had with him at around 9:35pm...
Note to Husbands around the world.
Listen to your wives. They know best.
:)
Snort! You were smart to boycott.
ReplyDeleteWe did that when we got a new trampoline. I snuck back into the house after an hour. Poor Hubs woke up at 5 am sore as all get out and shocked that I wasn't out there anymore with them. Snicker!
hahaha!
ReplyDeletehahah. They will never learn.
ReplyDeletehilarious!! :D
ReplyDeleteHaha!!! I have had this exact conversation with my hubs... except I was the one being eaten alive by mosquitos as my children jumped on my face.
ReplyDeleteTrampoline sleepover!?!
ReplyDeleteWow, that takes me back! They are loads of fun, but really best for tweens or kids old enough to know when it's time to stop jumping. LOL
Hilarious!! And it is soooo true! The wives are ALWAYS right. I am always telling my husband this when he doesn't listen to me..and he should have! ;)
ReplyDeleteMine only lasted 15 minutes last week. My niece, nephew and daughter wanted to sleep out on our trampoline last night and there was no way. So to get back at me, they all got up at 5am and went out there and jumped and woke up the neighborhood :)
ReplyDeleteMy friends and I ALWAYS slept on the trampoline, probably every week, we would take every blanket we owned and just make a big mess of warmth. No parents... watching the stars... some of my best memories :p
ReplyDeleteNope nope, never never never! My poor husband did that ONE night and he had to go get a massage the next day his back was so messed up.
ReplyDeleteBwa-ha-ha! I love this! Wives are always right!
ReplyDeletelol...true dat! ;p
ReplyDeleteYes they do! Mama always knows best ;)
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAH Awesome! Seriously, you think they'd know better by now!
ReplyDeleteOh man, I can't even think of having a sleepover-outside, way to hot lol. Although this post reminded me of the sleepover I had when I was a kid for my 14th BDay. We all slept in a big tent, outside.... mind you it was the end of October in Massachusetts, so instead of it being hot, it was pretty cold, but we pulled through and lived to tell about it lol.
ReplyDeleteI give your hubs alot of credit for being willing to do it. What a guy! :) And your kids will always remember that! PS. I have a Jocey too although mine is 22!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
AlwaysSewLove
I tell my hubby "I told you so" about thirty times a week. Why don't they listen?
ReplyDeletehehehehe!
that is too funny. we just bought a tramp. this summer and have been wanting to do a sleepover. we just have to wait until it's not 500degrees down here in south carolina. i sort of have a feeling our sleepover is going to end just like yours though. ;)
ReplyDeleteMother's know best!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! That is so funny! I remember sleeping on the trampoline as a kid and when we had one my teen and her friends love sleeping out there!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha that is SO funny! My kids, notice I said kids, love sleeping on the trampoline, me? NO WAY!
ReplyDeleteI always wonder why my husband disagrees with me. He knows I'll end up being right. ;)
ReplyDeleteI used to do that all the time when I was younger. All the bodies and blankets would end up smashed in the middle.
ReplyDeleteOh no!!!! Lol. Props for trying Cason. It sounded like fun to me :)
ReplyDeletethis made me giggle! when will husbands learn that we know what we're talking about!:)
ReplyDeletelove a good "told ya so" hubby story haha.
ReplyDeleteSO glad I could meet you, Jen and Heather at BlogHer! Wish we coulda talked more!
If there are two things I never tire of in my house, they're
ReplyDelete1. These types of conversations with my sons
2. Always being right
LOL
Why don't men listen to us more often?
