Thursday Thoughts

Today is full.  Lots to do.
Sometimes I don't love days like these.
Most of the time, I wake up and feel like I'm already defeated, before I've even started.
There's nothing actually HARD, or AWFUL to take on.
Just a LOT of the day-to-day duties that need to be tackled.

It gets monotonous.
Never boring.  Just monotonous.
anyone relate?

So I thought it was kind of ironic when I found happiness today in something really simple, and most of the time, understated.

The beautiful produce, that was... my lunch!
:)

This richly ripened avocado, and these perfectly plump raspberries.

Not because they were food...
But because they were perfect.

They didn't take any of MY time or energy to become this way.
They were just exactly perfect, and ready for me to enjoy.

I loved that, in the "busy" of today.

That's all.
Carry on :)

  5. I love this post! My sentiments exactly. I am a new follower of yours, a stay at home mom and a design lover. My husband works long long hours and when I start to feel like a single parent and my days seem never ending, it's amazing what a fresh chicken salad on crisp lettuce with tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, melon and mango can do. Colorful, fresh food just lifts the spirits!

  6. Yea, that's all, that is everything! Your attitude is your paint brush, it colors everything you do! That kind of attitude will help you get thru this kind of day. (I'm gonna say we can all relate, can I get an Amen sister?) Blessings to you!
