Epic Letterpress Combo Kit Giveaway

I posted a card last week that I made for a friends birthday, and had a TON of questions about how I actually MADE the card, where my supplies came from, and what techniques I used.

Well... You're in luck, people!

Alright first, let me clue you in on HOW I got this pur'dy turquoise crown and damask image on my card.

I used the...

It's a fun "tabletop" impression tool, that
* Die Cuts
* Embosses
* AND is a letterpress system,
 from Lifestyle Crafts.

All I had to do was watch these great videos,
to learn how to use the machine, and I was on my way! :)

I decided that I would test this baby out on fabric, to see how it did, and it worked awesome!

I used my Damask printing plates to make a non-ink impression on the end of my card,

and then actually took my ink roller and lightly rolled over the image, to get more of an aged look.

This machine is pretty awesome :)

It makes an impression of your chosen design plate on ONE side, and leaves the OTHER side, impression free!  This is great if you want to write on the back.

It's kind of hard to tell from the photo, but this technique gives cards such a classy look and texture.

I also used a "Happy Birthday" printing plate on the small card, in the back pocket.

And made the actual pocket, out of the new "hello/goodbye" paper line.

SUCH cute paper in this pack!

I don't have boys, but if I did, this would SO be a #1 contender for the cutest boy room color scheme... ever! lol
