Oh give me a break... okay!?
I couldn't stop THINKING about the pillow, after my green post!
And while I might have been picking up another 10 cans of flat, white, .96 cent spray paint... I MAY or may not have wandered over to the bath/pillow section of Walmart... to only get stopped in my tracks, by this
OH SO CUTE, pb looking but half the price, masterpiece!
Can you blame me?
She belongs here.
:)
It would have been a crime against all things green and beautiful,
if I'd not blown a little grocery money and bought it!
OH... you just STOP judging me right NOW... like you've never done that!
PLUS... our Walmart is a DIVE... and I was SO, BEYOND thrilled to see a CUTE piece of home decor in OUR ghetto Wally World, so... I just HAD to snag it.
.

.
There... Justified. :)
You make me laugh! I won't judge, we eat cereal for dinner because i tend to blow grocery money on decor too!
ReplyDeleteI love your green bed attire! I am so jealous! I am about to scout out ebay and amazon for some PB on the cheap! :) Double Yay for the awesome wally world find. I know you think yours is ghetto, but I guarantee that mine is mo' ghetto than yours. what a diamond in the rough!
ReplyDeleteMy walmart is pretty bad too but you can find some good stuff occasionally. I like that pillow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh!!! Now I need to go spend some grocery money on that darn pillow - not sure where I'll use it, but I think I "need" it! Great find!
ReplyDeleteI have been tempted by these exact same pillows at our local wally's.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to buy them but you can bet they are on the list right under cereal.
;)R.
You crack me up! But I would have done the EXACT same thing! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteHa too funny! I think you are justified in spending some of your grocery dollars. Fab pillow and love the bath mat. I have to say I love the rose ruffled pillow too, where is that from?
ReplyDeleteOur Walmart is the same. I rescue plants from them as they kill them. Delightful Pillow and RUG. I did find Max Factor make up today for twenty five cents! ~olive~
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny! Love the pillow and the rug. We have an awful walmart too, I refuse to go. But maybe this time it won't be so bad.....
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahaha! It appears that your green bedroom pillow has a friend in the bathroom! However you got it, it sure looks good!
ReplyDeleteMany Blessings,
M.
Such a sneaky bath rug! It and the pillow look quite happy with their beautiful new homes. I think I have to head to Wal-mart now...
ReplyDeleteAmy
Very cute pillow and rug. I am sure they hopped into your cart of their own accord. I really like my Walmarts, I have 3 within 8 miles that I frequent. I go to 3 because they don't all carry the same things, it drives me batty.
ReplyDeleteHa,ha,ha! Oh Shelley you make me laugh so hard.
ReplyDeleteFood is SO overrated! Plus, once you eat it, it's gone. Not so with the pillow! ;)
ReplyDeleteGirrl . . . that's a steal! And so worth eating pasta for a few nights! Our Wal-Mart rocks! I hate to admit it, but it really does :-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! You really found that at Walmart - wow!!
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Jen
Haha you crack me up. I've totally done the same thing. Who needs food? Love that pillow and rug!
ReplyDeleteI love our Wal-Mart - but it's still newish so there is PLENTY o time for it to go to pot.
ReplyDeletePillow needed - Top Ramen it is! The kids won't ever complain anyhow, you're really doing them a favor!!!
Lol, Seriously I really, really love you. Like a lot!
ReplyDeleteYour bed is gorgeous!! I love green!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I've been trying to find some pillows with that spring green for my family room. I'm heading to Wally World today...keep your fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteJust bought the same pillow. Great minds think alike! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI do that all the time! But you're right, it looks great and you got it at a good deal. So what if the fam goes hungry for a few days! *wink* Enjoy your pretty pillow and bath mat.
ReplyDeletehehe...Don't you just LOVE when things happen to magically appear around your home? :)
ReplyDeleteOkay thank you so much for the laugh this post had me really laughing out loud! :-) It is also comforting to know someone else thinks the same way about Wally World!!! :-) Oh and when confronting the $ VS shopping dilemma . .I just think of it as a weight loss plan . . I mean after-all less $ for food means less food in your tummy!!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI don't know you. And I'm not even sure how I found your blog. But...I'm sure glad I did! You are SO stinking funny! You truly make me laugh OUT LOUD!!! I just love reading your blog because, not only do you have the best ideas and cutest home I've EVER SEEN, but you write so well and you make it seem like you're right there talking to all us bloggers. You are so fun! I'm sure we were probably friends in another life:) Plus, it looks like you live in Daybreak, South Jordan. I grew up right down the hill from there. My parents still live in the home I grew up in, but now they have a GORGEOUS view of the Oquirrh Mountain temple out their front window. Anyway, I'm getting SO off subject. Thank you for being my FAVORITE blog to look at! I have 3 little girls the same ages as yours and one day, my house just might look like yours(fingers crossed)! Keep up the fun posts. ~Klorissa
ReplyDeleteUm, hello. Not only are you HA-larious, but so talented! Thanks for sharing, and I can not wait to make those flower balls. TO DIE FOR!
ReplyDeleteYou really made me laugh today! :) Love that green stuff! And it is awesome when such perfect things just happen to make their way into your home. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the quilt on your bed!??
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!! You are such a blast to read AND you have the best ideas!!!! I have recommended your blog to so many of my mommy friends who feel "stuck" and that they can't do anything right now.
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration! Plus, you make me laugh!!!!
Girl, they look fabulous! I'm so glad you got them :) I never get out of that store without picking something extra up.
ReplyDeletelove the green and i'm not even a green gal! dinner.....who needs dinner anyway! lol
ReplyDeleteyou always keep me smiling, that's why this IS my FAV BLOG, hands down! keep it up gf.
I want to re-do our bedroom and I'm loving the quilt on your bed. Where did you get it?! Thanks!! And thank you for the laugh!
ReplyDeleteOk, first of all...HILARIOUS post!! the "how did that get there?" at the end threw me for a LOOP! it TOTALLY sounded like something i would say to my boyfriend after shopping home decor!!! lol
ReplyDeletesecond, i know what you mean about that pillow! i bought a bed-in-a-bag set from wally world that was green & brown & COVETED that pillow to go on my bed, but was FORBIDDEN to buy it! [we already had a TON of pillows from the PREVIOUS set that still matched!] i even tried to give the excuse of "buying it for my best friend, who LOVES green & it totally matches her style" with the full intention of PRAYING that she would decide to give it away & give it to ME! lol the other day, my godmom bought me a NEW bed set (purple & gray) & i saw that pillow again...it's STILL haunting me! i'm thinking i might buy it for my goddaughter's room, which will be decorated pink & green! =) i LOVE that pillow!! it's ridiculous...
anywho, thanks for the laugh...and don't worry, my wally world is SUPER ghetto. i literally live right up the street from mine, but i choose to go to one in the next town over so i can have a better selection/experience!! lol [sad right..?]
I love your green bedding! Love it! Can you tell me where you got your green stripped Euro shams, they are darling!
