Paint Colors

{Paint Color Party}
I've decided to participate in a paint party over at Frugal Home Ideas!
Here are some of the paint colors in my home! This time, with pictures. :)

Swiss Pink - Kwal Paint - Satin

My favorite yellow - Champaign Tickle - Valspar Satin

(I might actually do something different in here, because now that I've switched the girls' rooms, the baby's quilt is more of a mustard-y yellow. But I STILL love how bright, and light this yellow is. And it looks great at night too!)

Muddy River - Kwal Satin - Paint

I LOVE this color. It looks great with white, cream or black furniture. It's got a green undertone to it, and looks awesome with this green in my bedroom.

Autumn Haze - Glidden - Satin

LOVE LOVE LOVE this color! It's the new color in the main part of our house. I wanted everything to look REALLY bright, but not TOO white... so this was a great color for me! Lots of yellow in this paint... rather than fleshy pink tones... ew. I hate when paint looks like it has pink tones in it.

Dockside Blue - Sherwin Williams - Satin

This blue took a lot of trial and error. Blues are HARD! I didn't want it to be TOO blue... or TOO grey, so once I saw this Sherwin Williams color, I knew it would be great!
I WAS a little nervous that it might look like a "little boys room" blue but once I got the black in there, with the natural fiber rug and dark espresso floors... it looked perfect!
Now about getting a new chandelier..... lol.

  5. Great idea for a post - I love finding out the paint color of a room, especially when I can see a picture of the room! I love the color scheme of the master, and that sweet pink in the girls' room!

  7. I can't get Kwal Paint in Ohio! Do you know of a similar color to Muddy River in Glidden, Valspar, Behr, Sherwin Williams, etc? Thanks!!

  8. Question for you ... I just ran down to Home Depot to get a paint sample for the Glidden Cyprus Green ... guess what ... they don't have it.

They looked on the computer and the color they have is a darker green color ... but it said that there is another color called Cyprus Green - they just don't have it.

Do you happen to have the label from the top of the can with the color tints and amounts ?

I thought I'd get a sample and see if it would work for me.

    Thanks so much !!
