{GIVEAWAY!}
I'm stoked about this giveaway! :)
I'm sure everyone has heard about Shaklee products, except me. LOL.
I didn't even KNOW about them 'till Bette, an independent Shaklee distributor and fellow blogger, at
Frugal Mom X3, told me about them!
Ya... well, come to find out they've been around for like 50 YEARS. woah! lol.
Shaklee is a company based on ALL natural products!
They are non-toxic, totally organic, and environmentally friendly.
Bette wondered if I would review a super popular cleaning product that Shaklee sells, called
Um... clean something, better!? YES! Bring it on :)
If you know me at all, then you know I'm pretty much a clean FREAK.
I literally have breakdowns when my house is messy or cluttered... and even worse... DIRTY.
(ya... OCD, I know)
So I was pumped when Bette hooked me up with some Basic H2 concentrate.
I decided to take the
"Microwave Challenge"
lol.
Ours wasn't too horrible, by any means, but since I DO use it for almost EVERY meal... I have to say that it MIGHT be dirtier then our oven. LOL
(I've said too much)
ANYWAY... Here are some pictures...
BEFORE
(blow them up, if you must......ew)
and
AFTER
Whoo hoo!
I just put about a tablespoon of the solution in a water filled spray bottle, and
ta-da!
Grease fighting magic :)
I literally used ONLY paper towels to get all that nasty greasy and stuck on mess... off!
No scrubbing needed :)
I have to be honest... you know what I REALLY liked about this product?
It gets fingerprints and nasty smudges off of everything, SO WELL!
No streaky-ness or weird chemical-alcohol smell!
gotta love that!
BEFORE
AFTER
I even used a bit of the solution to soak my "ice and water dispenser" tray in.
And it really shined it up, from all the hard water stains.
Bette also told me about the ENTIRE Shaklee "Get Clean Starter Kit", that you can purchase HERE.
All these fabulous products are only a FRACTION of the price you would pay for cleaning products in your local store (over $3,000 worth)... for the same AMOUNT, but BETTER cleaning power!
I can only imagine how well the REST of these items work, if I was impressed with just a few drops of this Basic H2 :)
PS. This bottle will last forever, if I only have to use a teaspoon here or there, mixed with water.
yessssssss... :)
Okay... so you want to win your own sample, of Basic H2, and try it out for yourself???
'Course you do :)
Bette's giving enough Basic H2 away so that you can, mix 2 drops to 16 oz. of water in a Spray Bottle for cleaning windows and mirrors.
Then, mix 1/4 tsp. to 16 oz. of water in a Spray Bottle for all-purpose cleaning!

Can I really be the first to comment? WOW!
ReplyDeleteWell, I would love to try the H2. And although its not for cleaning, I wonder if their snack bars are any good? I am not a diet-y person but I love a good meal replacement bar when I am on the go.
Oh, I see...I am not the first.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get my water catcher thing on my frige clean. With little kids always using it, I think it is permanently crusted with hard water. I just cant get it off!!
Love your blog by the way. I have never commented, but am an avid reader. You are so talented!
I need to try H2! I have smudges and awful grease above my range and on top of the microwave. Nothing has worked thus far.
ReplyDeleteI want the H2 too!!! I just cleaned my microwave TODAY and regular old soapy water just didn't cut it. It wasn't shiny like yours. =(
ReplyDeleteI think the area that is YELLING at me right now is my fridge. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI grew up using Shaklee products. I had kind of forgotten them, but Shaklee seems to be getting popular lately! I would love to try the Basic H2.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the Dish Wash Concentrate.

ReplyDeleteI am a floor cleaning nut!!! Usually I use Clorox with Bleach or Mean Green but the fumes are horrible!!! Because my kitchen has the most traffic throughout the week, I am always on the hunt for something to shine up that kitchen floor and the H2 seems to by my answer!!
ReplyDeleteOooh I am dying to try the Scour Off oven cleaner. We just bought a new to us house and I really need to clean out the oven before I use it. (I am following you privately and couldn't figure out how to follow you so that it shows. Do you know how I would change that?)

The area in my house that needs cleaned? Well, I am sort of a neat freak also and I have been wanting to try the Shaklee products for some time now. I really need the scour off for my sinks since my children and husband can't brush their teeth without getting toothpaste ALL OVER everything! Another area that needs to be cleaned is a mystery--we inherited a new kitten recently. I would like to put a helmet cam on him--the other day he came out of somewhere covered in cob webs! What area of my house did he get into that I clearly haven't cleaned forever? The search continues!
