I'm a recently single Momma to three pre-teen girls, and a lover of anything home decor and beauty related. The House of Smiths is my own little part of the internet that allows me to share and document all of the life that happens under our roof!
Feel free to look around - friends are always welcome here!
It's awesome that you get to be on tv and it's fun to hear about the projects not just read about them. I think I will make the ironing board hanger...that could fit on the back of the door and keep it out of the way!!!
Saw you on TV today and loved your creative style!! I was just thinking I needed to revamp my laundry room. I'm not too creative..I like to copy cat!!! My laundry my look very similer to yours someday very soon:) Now I've spent the better part of my day looking at all your other project. Lets just say I'm hooked!!!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!!
Love the video - I think the missing sock hanging is great and easy to do. We have plenty of missing socks so this might be my project this weekend. Can't wait to see what else you create. Have a great weekend!
My laundry room needs some serious help. I think it will be the last room in the house to get worked on. But yours is adorable! Maybe I can come do my laundry at your house...LOL.
I am so glad I saw you on studio 5. Those laundry room ideas are great! I am moving into a new house soon and am excited to use some of your DIY ideas! I was also surprised to see the picture of your husband, I went to High School with him!
You are so cute! I loved getting to see (and hear!) you! What an awesome segment! You looked beautiful!
I adore your ideas and want to do EVERYTHING you mentioned! I have the world's tiniest laundry room - it is also my pantry and is a walk-thru from the kitchen to the garage. No fewer than FOUR doors open into the teeny tiny space. Argh! So some major organization and cute-ification are needed! Thanks for all the great tips!
Shelly, I caught this segment & loved it. You are so cute on TV--kinda my pretend TV friend. "Won't you be my neighbor?" Ha ha. Wish I could meet you in person at Studio 5, but I doubt we'll ever be there on the same day. You're an inspiration to me!
Okay I'm so glad that you're all done with your laundry room because now you can come do mine! Seriously. When are you taking your show on the road? My laundry room is at your disposal. And can I just say you do such a good job on TV. I see some blogger go on this show and blah, no personality. Now I don't know you in RIL but you show so much personality on TV, I love it.
Oh my goodness you are so cute I can't stand it! I love this, thanks for sharing it!! I really want an ironing board now so I can hang it up on a cute board! :) I have an over the door one and I never use it because it's such a pain! This is so much cuter!
