It's the Little Things

Do you ever feel like this?
Today was one of those days for me :)

I'm thankful for my clean office/storage/workspace that my rockin' hubby help me organize the other night...
WHILE my brother was installing a new, better hard drive on my computer!
ME = HAPPY!

Garage selling and shopping with a great friend, on a beautiful Saturday, finding awesome deals...

bringing my finds home... and loving them EVEN more, then when I saw them in the store :)
ME = HAPPY!

Finding new pretty "eye candy" fabric...
ME = HAPPY!

Yummy smelling pink coconut Bath and Body Works soap, for our "girly bathroom"
ME = HAPPY!

Spending time with these three little chicks...
Ecstatic!  :)

It doesn't take much today... as you can see, due to my excitement with soap. lol
Just thought I'd share a few things that made me smile today :)

Hope everyone's having a great weekend filled with lots of those "simple things" and moments...
that make you happy too!

  13. I just adore that little organized workspace with the chocolate walls. Actually, that's code for "it made me pee a little".

    I've got my workspace all organized, but no painted walls. I may be rethinking the necessity of that....ASAP. Until then, I shall continuing coveting yours. (that's a sin, right? too bad)

  17. Thank you for the UGLY tour...now I don't feel like such a schlub!! The chair...can you say SLIP-COVER! Then they really would look PB!! The hole in the wall...how about a shutter? If you have a Habitat Restore they have LOTS of them. And...I loved seeing the laundry room in it's "not so perfect state". Whew...what a relief - you sure make it hard for a girl to live up too! LOL I think you could Martha a run for the money! Keep up the awesome work...you have inspired me - I have started my own blog and spent all day working on my first project to post. Have a great weekend!

  18. i love the fabric! LOVE this post!! just curious if Cason built the ribbon organizer on the wall in the office/storage/workspace or if you bought it from somewhere? I've been looking for one for my sister for a long time and can't find the perfect one- but that looks close! (but maybe it's just cuz you have it!)

  20. I printed out your photo of this desk and took it to Ikea. They didn't have it. I searched all over your blog to find any info. on it, so my last resort is to just ask you. :) The desk under the crop in style cubes--where did you find it. I want to do the same thing in my craft room. Thanks.
